Hand out links at lectures and seminars with one QR code
Instead of sending a slide link or survey URL to each attendee, show a single QR code on screen. Attendees open the content by scanning it with their phone camera. No app, sign-up, or group chat invitation is needed.
When to use it
- Links to lecture materials or reference lists
- Survey or quiz response links
- Instructions for connecting to venue Wi-Fi (leave the password itself out)
- Booth or event information page addresses
How to use it
- Paste the text you want to share into bombMemo.
- Choose a storage time that matches your session and press [Send]. A 6-digit code and QR code appear right away, so show the QR code large on a projector or display.
- Attendees scan the QR code with their phone camera, open the content, and copy it. Once the viewing time is over, it is deleted automatically.
About storage time
You can choose 1, 5, 10, or 30 minutes. Without logging in, the maximum is 30 minutes. Members who sign in with Google can keep content for up to 24 hours, so a full-day event is easier with a member account. Signing in with Google is free, and text can be up to 20,000 characters long.
Start using bombMemoFrequently asked questions
Do attendees need to sign up?
No. Opening a code, QR code, or link does not require an account. Attendees just scan the QR code with their phone camera.
How many people can open it?
We cannot promise a fixed number of viewers. Anyone who knows the QR code or link can open it while the storage time lasts.
What happens when the time runs out?
Once the time is up, no one can open the content, and the text is permanently deleted from our servers within about one minute. We keep no backups, so it cannot be restored. Keep a copy of anything you need somewhere else in advance.
Can I also share files such as PDFs?
Yes. You can share PDF, document (DOCX, HWP and others) and archive (ZIP and others) files without signing in, up to 3 per note and 20 MB each. Members who sign in with Google can send up to 3 files of 50 MB each, and photos (up to 10, 10 MB each) are for members only. For large lecture materials, we recommend uploading the file to cloud storage and putting its link in your text.
